This year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Guangdong Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee. On December 28, the Provincial Working Committee held the "Commemorating the 20th Anniversary of the Guangdong Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee and the Province’s Care for the Next Generation Work Commendation Conference" in Guangzhou to commend the province’s advanced collectives and individual that care about the next generation, as well as the province's outstanding contribution to the work of caring for the next generation. At this special moment, our company was awarded the honor of Guangdong Province’s Advanced Collective for Cares for the Next Generation and became the only private enterprise this year to receive this honor.
Teenagers are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation. Over the past 20 years, especially since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the provincial committees of work and the five elders (it is "veteran cadres, veterans, experts, teachers, and role models") have been educating and guiding groups of young people, facing the distance and future, cherishing dreams, spreading wings and flying, play an important role in promoting the healthy growth of young people and promoting the development of the cause of caring for the next generation. Under the guidance of the Jieyang Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, the company established the Greatoo Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee (referred to as the Greatoo Work Committee) on May 12, 2014, becoming the first private enterprise in Jieyang to set up the Cares for the Next Generation Working Committee, and carry out various tasks with the purpose of "being close to reality, serving the development of enterprises, caring for the growth of young workers, and promoting social harmony".
Since its establishment, the Greatoo Work Committee has actively carried out ideological and ethical publicity and education based on the characteristics of the company’s young employees, and actively cultivated the patriotic and dedicated feelings of young employees; promoted technological innovation, promoted young technical backbones to grow in the wave of technological innovation, and continued to promote manpower training three strategic projects: First, the "303 Plan" and the "Gold Medal Figure" training project, that is, the echelon training project for middle and high-level reserve cadres. Second, the "Advanced Blue Collar Project", with the company's administrative system and technical system staff as the main target, cooperates with Guangdong University of Technology to set up the "Master's Program" and "Professional to Undergraduate" academic qualification upgrade classes to implement a comprehensive upgrade of academic qualifications and professional titles. Third, the "Industrial Worker Knowledge Project" targets production employees and relies on school-enterprise cooperation to promote skill levels for jobs in short supply (milling, lathe, fitter, etc.) in Jieyang. The continuous development of the three major projects has created batch after batch of high-quality young technical talents. In the finals of the 3rd National Intelligent Manufacturing Application Technology Skills Competition in 2019, our company sent three young engineers and won the championship. What’s more, Greatoo has always advocated a people-oriented approach, continued to pay attention to young employees, overseas personnel and their families, and helped young employees and their children solve their problems. It has set up "Scholarships for Children of Employees with Outstanding Progress in Higher Education" and "Greatoo University Student Awards and Grants" to encourage employees' children to study hard, go up, help the children of outstanding employees realize their dreams of enrollment, and contribute to the cultivation of outstanding next-generation jobs; attach importance to and care about the lives of young employees, provide a beautiful dormitory for single employees, and build independent residential communities in the early years to provides individual accommodation for employees who have already married.
The Greatoo Work Committee focuses on the education and training of young workers, based on its own duties and facing the society, creating a strong atmosphere for building a harmonious society and promoting the healthy growth of the next generation.
